It is an honor and blessing to work with people wherever they are at in their life journey. I admire your courage in seeking help and support.
I have a warm, non-judgmental and genuine approach. I believe laughter has healing qualities, and I enjoy using humor as appropriate. I believe my relationship with you is the most important aspect of our work and I view you as the expert as we help you navigate the changes you would like to make.
I have been working with children and families for the last 13 years and have expertise in the areas of anxiety, trauma, blended families, co-parenting, grief, relationship issues, co-dependency and addiction.
I am passionate about helping couples who feel stuck in their relationship, who have the same arguments over and over and are wanting to restore and rebuild their emotional connection and intimacy. I also enjoy working with couples who are preparing for marriage, and parents who may be considering separation and are wanting support to effectively co-parent their children.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in using motivational interviewing, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, attachment, and systems theory.
