Hi there! I’m so glad you are looking into getting some support and healing for yourself. There is no better investment than in you and the quality of your life and relationships.
I have been a therapist for almost 20 years specializing in adults with anxiety, couples counseling and communication, women’s wellness and personal development, and trauma work.
I also founded this clinic in 2009 and have enjoyed being a small business owner where I get to utilize a different set of skills outside of my clinical work. As a result I work with many professionals and small business owners in my practice as well supporting them in their personal and professional lives.
In general, I work with adults and couples, looking to improve their mental wellness, relationship and communication, and get the support they need as they journey either through tough challenges or braving new chapters in their life.
Integrative Mental Wellness:
My experience has taught me that our health is dynamic and requires our care and attention. Our health needs change as we go through different stages of life and face different challenges, or even when we create new goals for ourselves. It has also become clear that there is not a single answer to achieving mental wellness or health in general.
We need to create a variety of healthy habits unique to us that can create and sustain the mind, body, relationships, and bigger connection we need to fully enjoy our lives.
In our work together we can look at your daily health habits, relationship patterns, spiritual development, career and contributions, and more, to see where you might need to focus in order to find more balance and fulfillment. We can look at habits, beliefs and behaviors around food, exercise, work, sleep, etc. and help you make changes and form new ways of living that might seem small, but have a big impact.
Of course we’ll also be helping you to improve your mindset, change limiting beliefs, and resolve old wounds if needed, as we do in traditional counseling.
I also am passionate about helping people achieve mental wellness as naturally as possible. You will be surprised what a difference therapy and all of these lifestyle changes can make. We know many things work, but we often have a hard time doing them without support. So I will help you work through your blocks so you can reach these goals and feel empowered knowing you can help yourself feel better.
Women, Anxiety & Midlife:
I have specialized in women’s health and anxiety for most of my career, as well as couple relationships. As I have been in midlife now myself, I see the need again for us to have more support during such a time of so many changes. Midlife brings with it a lot of new health changes, ranges of emotions, relationship challenges, and new levels of awareness and life reflections.
Being a woman is an amazing and challenging experience on so many levels. Our strength has always come from our support for each other. So I am here to support you so you can grow through these changes and enjoy the rewards of this time of life.
